When I first saw my profile there at a TODAY Moms page, apparently with me as one of the "moms," I was speechless for a while. I joined this site? I was thinking that it's possible that I just forgot my membership there because I have joined quite a number of sites over the years.
It says there at the center right portion of the page: "Jesusa Bernardo hasn't answered any TODAY Moms questions yet." Made me wonder why I even joined when I did not bother to join in the Activity.
As I scrolled the page, I noticed the msnbc.com name and logo at the far right. Immediately it came to mind that it's part of the Newsvine deal, Newsviners and their articles being part of whatever.
The page actually looks nice, with peach, fushchia team and pastel garden flowers to boot. I then thought why msnbc hasn't informed us yet so we can perhaps take part at will.
What dropped my jaw however, was when i found that male Newsviners also have their page on TODAY Moms! In particular, I saw my friend, all-male and big, bigbugy, having his profile! Shouldn't he be on "TODAY Dads" instead?
Then I checked on other males--Chello, ntq and guess what. They have their own pages, also with the "hasn't answered any Today Moms questions yet" advisory.
I checked a few other female Newsvine friends of mine, like River-239955 and Caroaber, and they also have their own pages. However, Mumbaki and G.H., based on my quick google search, don't seem to have pages there.
Then I tried to use the search box of the site. It did not seem to work. I changed browser. Still didn't work.
Obviously, TODAY Moms is still a site under construction. Must be. Otherwise, they will host a separate TODAY Dads for the all-male Newsviners.
By the way, I googled ["TODAY Dads" bigbugy] and there's no hit. Neither for ["TODAY Dads" Jesusa Bernardo].
