Yesterday, Mrs. Arroyo�s birthday, the Palace tried to create a stir by putting up a montage of 1,000 of her pictures in an effort to make it to the Guinness World Record of the biggest such gimmick.

Mao Zedong�s lackeys never thought of doing this, but what can one expect from a Palace filled with brownosers?

Mrs. Arroyo�s bootlickers should have not bothered about putting the country in the limelight. The Philippines has landed again in international consciousness after the group of world superpowers under the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) placed the Philippines in the list of four countries that are considered havens for tax evasion.
