Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will return the presidency to pardoned former leader Joseph "Erap" Estrada in order to satisfy the growing clamor for her resignation, and the phenomenal public reception that welcomed Estrada's freedom and the general acclamation over the executive clemency she granted to the ex-President. According to the author, respected economist, academician and nationalist Alejandro Lichaucho, "Erap today is to the Philippines as Hugo Chavez is to Venezuela.
